My work is called silk fusion.
This is a handmade fabric from dyed silk fibers as a background for fiber collage.
The fabric is inlaid and overlaid with different fibers, threads and/or ribbons, which I then use for wall art, purses, scarves, chair seats and more.
I take my inspiration from the Wisconsin landscape and from the colors of the silk.
